BOOMERANG is a new and original lyrical monologue written and performed by Clive Moffatt
This autobiographical work captures the playful innocence of youth, the triumphs and trials of middle age and the frustrations and reluctant resignation of later life.
The audience are presented with four glimpses into one man’s journey of chance and survival remembered in conversations, poetry and music: “Heroes and Villains” (1958), “Taking on the World” (1998) ,“Musical Chairs”(2010) and “Mother’s Farewell” (2018).
Clive -the writer and perfomer- is a retired businessman whose passion for writing and theatre has led him into acting in several plays produced by KDC and South London Theatre. In 2014, he set up Nomadic Theatrical Productions to encourage aspiring writers and actors.
His first major production in 2014 was a version of Tartuffe at the Shoreditch Theatre. More recently, he wrote and directed a musical revue “Nostalgia”, which ran at the White Bear in London and at the Theatre Royal in Wakefield.
