CHERRY SOUR and the Tragedy of the Pink Flamingo

In a room filled with echoes of The Pink Flamingos’ song, Cherry Sour stands outside, haunted by memories of a final, violent fight. Opening the door, she finds our last music star, Johnny Flamingo, dead.
Desperate and alone, she pleads guilty and recounts her story, a story of music, love, and abandonment from a police interrogation room.
By Mexican Award winning playwright, Isabel Quiroz. Cherry Sour is a new adaptation and translation from the original "Cherry Sour y la Tragedia del Pink Flamingo" written by Quiroz in 2019, and an Honorific Mention by the National Prize for Playwrights "Manuel Herrera" in Mexico.
