From award-winning writer-performer Michael Kunze comes work in progress of his new character comedy show “Infinity Mirror”. An actor is interviewed for a dishy entertainment podcast as he looks back over characters he’s played in his career, including: a grizzled old basketball coach obsessed with Carly Rae Jepsen’s “Call Me Maybe”, an estate agent convinced the house he’s trying to sell is haunted, an insecure spaceship captain, a loner traumatized by his family’s kidnap by ninjas, a cop who goes undercover as a hot dog, a scarecrow desperate to convince everyone he’s a real man, and more. All the while he tries to connect honestly with the podcast hosts, who could care less about about what he has to offer. A silly and joyous show about authenticity, loneliness, and trying to connect that will make you roar with laughter and might just make you feel something.
Michael Kunze is back following his solo Edinburgh debut “Lil Saffron: Ragu to Riches”, which received multiple 5 star reviews and following the fringe transferred to the Pleasance and the Soho Theatre in London.
