King of the Rats

Disgraced ex-publisher Archibald Scrape has done and seen it all. Once the leading light of the literary world, Scrape’s career ended in shame, embarrassment, and shame again.

However, for one night only, you will be fortunate enough to have first hand access to the dire, twisted tale of Archibald Scrape’s Rise and Fall, all told completely without bias by Scrape himself.

Expect a night of sordid tales from someone who rubbed elbows, shoulders, knees, and even toes with the very best and the very worst. As Archibald digs through his life’s work, expect to be scandalised by his ghostwriting successes, horrified by his brain worm, and outraged by his blatant justification of murder.

Written and performed by reluctant Footlight Gregory Miller, King of the Rats is a surreal hour of character comedy involving muses, musings, and amusement. Oh, and also rats. Lots and lots of rats.
