Utopia

“I don't want to sound like a selfish bitch, but the anti-racism march is not my thing."

------------------

The story explores the challenges faced by a cross-country couple as they plan to move to a new place that neither of them is familiar with to avoid "unfairness" in their relationship. The play aims to spark a conversation around the definition of "minority".

Being in a relationship with someone who speaks a different language, has a different appearance, and a different mindset is challenging, especially when one person has never experienced being a "minority." The couple in this play is faced with structural and societal-level difficulties that are straining their relationship. Can love cure the wounds of systemic oppression? And how can people in interracial relationships navigate these challenges?
